Holy Crap, Mine Just Shipped Tonight!!

So, just before hitting the sack (1:30am Eastern) I decide to hit "refresh" and i'm not kidding, the damn thing says "Shipped on: Feb 8, 2008 via FEDERAL EXPRESS." Click on the tracking link and see:

10:08 PM Package data transmitted to FedEx

Next logical move - log on to chase.com and verify any account activity - i see a pending charge in the $3,XXX range.

I really have to wonder if this had anything to do with my little call to Apple around 7:30pm-ish earlier tonight, where I was able to pay $30 to get my employee discounted purchase expedited to 2-3 day delivery?

Ordered: January 21st
Original Ship by: February 12th
Revised Delivery (from earlier tonight) February 18 to February 14th.
Now appears I might actually get it by Tuesday (2/12) or Wed (2/13) depending on when they count the first day of shipping.

Huzzah, huzzah, huzzah!!!! I was playing with Cinema 4D for the last few hours (to get my mind off this) and just checked my order status ...

Now I'm sure they won't actually ship on Saturday, but this means Monday it should be out the friggin' door and to me on Tuesday.

No sooner posted than I just got an e-mail from Apple: "We wanted to let you know that your order has shipped." And my status on Apple's site changed in the last 3 minutes to "Shipped."

The FedEx number says delivery on Monday by 3:00 PM. There was a seminar I wanted to go to at 2:00, but, something tells me I'll have other things to occupy my time ...

And for those keeping track, I ordered at 9:55 AM MST on Jan. 9th, through the ADC store, shipping to Colorado.
