Actually makes for a nice backdrop.

Hey, what the heck, there's been fun going on whilst I wasn't looking?! OK, that does it, I'm absolutely, definitely, never getting the flu again.
I really like the pose and bright colors in the backdrop, but the super dark shadows on her legs and at the bottom bug me. It took me a while before I figured out it was a train car. I'd at least lighten up the deepest shadows on her pants, but the void at the bottom is also too stark a contrast with the bright paint and hoodie IMHO. All-in-all a really stunning shot.

Part of one of my mid-life crises
I was thinking of having mid-life crises but technically speaking that would mean that I anticipate living to 110 yrs. So I'm planning on a retirement crises that includes a Nikon D5 and the new 600mm lens.

Don't post much here, cause I'm not the best photographer (so much to learn!). Anyway I was at a wedding and snapped this picture as my lovely little flower girl ran back to the reception to play with the other kids. ... It's quickly becoming a favourite with my relatives.
