Probably a stupid Q, but: How do I make it so I don't have to reconnect my BT KB/MM?

So, I have a Macbook and a bluetooth keyboard and Mighty Mouse. They're synced with the computer, and I tend to just leave the KB/M on all the time. However, when I take my laptop to school, the family room, etc, and bring it back to my desk, I have to manually "set up bluetooth device."

How do I make it so they automatically connect again?

I've not tried it so this is only a suggestion, but could you set up two locations in the networking preferences?

I just click the mouse a few times then tap a few keys on the keyboard and then wait around 5-10 seconds and they automatically reconnect.
