I purchased the FE. Silver would look really good, esp with the Spigen aluminum home button.

I like the gun metal color and think it will look really good with my yellow wrap from Adaptation.

Alright sweet. Guess I'm going for the silver. The money for the FE isn't bothering me its just that the silver might look better on the white. Do you have a black ip?

However- what is this yellow wrap you're talking about? Care to link?:)

----------

I don't know if its been posted earlier but does glass.t work with the sector case?

Yes, I have a black iPhone. And here is the link for the adaption yellow wrap: http://www.adaptationla.com/collect...products/iphone-5-neon-yellow-bumper-rim-skin

And I do believe I read that some people have reported no issues with the glass.t and the sector case.

Works with the Glas.T, or so people have said.

As for the wrap, cdhoward posted his, but you may also want to look into the Spectra Wraps by TheLuckyLabs. Their wraps are just perfect (imo) and actually quite inexpensive. Started using them when I first heard of them on my 4S and now I'm kind of a fanboy :p

Where did you buy the button?

That button comes from the same Adaption website. Spectra has similar setups and similar pricing, but does include the Apple logo for the back. The Apple logo is cool, but irrelevant to me because I will have the carbon fiber back plate as soon as EC straightens that situation out.

Now, if interested in an aluminum button, its at Spigen.

Thanks both of you for the rapid responses.

Why all this love for the carbon back? Isn't the suede gray back having a nicer feel?

It's not that I don't think the ultrasuede doesn't look good. I'm just afraid that it won't hold up over a year. Plus, I really love carbon fiber. I'll equip the ultrasuede for now when my case arrives. That is, of course, unless they fix the CF issue before then.

Received my Element Case Sector 5 yesterday, and I can now say that without a shadow of a doubt...this is the most phenomenal case I have EVER owned. Just like many others on this forum, I am a self-proclaimed case whore, and the quality, craftsmanship and overall fit & finish of this case is amazing. Looks like Korican100 and I not only have similar case obsession issues, but we have similar taste as well... ;) Although, who knows how long I will keep this color scheme for. :p

Thank you Element Case for going above and beyond with this one. I loved the Vapor Comp and Vapor Pro, but this case takes the cake for me. Keep up the good work, and I can't wait to see what you guys have up for your sleeves for the "modular" nature of this case. :D

Here is my iPhone 5 with:
• Element Case Sector 5
• Spigen Glas.t Tempered Glass Screen Protector
• Spigen Steinheil Back Panel Protection Film (Crystal & Matte Film Combo)
• AdaptationLA Neon Yellow Rim Skin & Gel Button

I hope I didn't over look this question or the answer in the thread but does this case elevate the phone off of the back like the other bumpers available? I'd really like to get this case but the main thing I'm looking for in a case is a quality bumper (really wish apple was making one for the iPhone 5) that elevates the phone off of my desk at work so the back doesn't scratch. I know they provide the back protection with this case but I can't say I'm interested in applying anything to the back as of right now.

There is a small lip on the back that will prevent it from touching. The lip on the back seems larger than the front lip. Even with my wood panel on the back, the bumper still keeps it off the table.

Plus having the suede back will protect it from scratching.

At this point I'm not looking to install anything on the back. I know I'm losing protection but I'd prefer to have the back and front without anything on it. Oddly enough all I'm worried about doing is protecting the back of the phone without putting anything on it. As of now every day I have my phone sitting on a notepad to keep it from sitting directly on my desk. My last phone was an HTC EVO 4G and sliding it around on my desk destroyed the back of the phone. The camera lens was scratched to the point that I had to take it off to take a picture, the metal ring around the camera lens was completely worn down, and the kick stand at the bottom of the phone was showing bare metal.

I would at least put a wet screen protector on the back.

The suede back doesn't affect the signal lol

Which wet screen protector do you recommend? Are they easy to install?

I bought Xtremeguards. They seems really great and installed very easily. They're a wet install so you need to use the wet solution, but I find they're easier to install than the dry ones. You can position them when they're wet and don't have to worry as much about dust. Plus, the wet ones won't leave a weird outline around the iPhone logo on the back of the phone.

Add 2 back protectors to your cart and use code 75OFF2

That will get you them both for $2.50

I agree about exposing the back. It looks best that way. I used the Spigen SGP back only and since the back protection is in three parts I used only the part that covers the vulnerable aluminum. That part is mat and you can barely tell it's there. The gorilla glass resists scratches and the case lip protects it. It's dry install and small with no openings making it easy to install

I've been in the preorder line ever since the page was available. Still haven't received any link.

If anyone isn't using their link, I would be grateful if they could send it my way.

p.s. I purchased the Draco V and it killed my LTE signal. Stay away from that case.
