I always went spoiler free. But it is so difficult here in Europe, time wise. I'd like to see it the minute it's up, but that's in the middle of the night. Maybe I go to bed early and set my alarm 1,5 hour earlier.

Someone should write a script to add to voidness's that'll open up iTunes and play a selected playlist to function as an alarm when it's up to either catch our attention or awake those of you overseas who are sleeping.

Ah good place to hide this topic from trolls! I hope the Keynote doesn't last longer than an hour - it'll probably be 10pm by the time it gets posted (GMT).

I've only managed spoiler free once. I hope I can control myself this time!

Hello!

Just so you know, I just tried that uStream link and got nothing more than a big spoiler!

My fault for peeking.

And no, it is not a live video stream of the event. It looked more like a podcast with questionable production quality!

Spoiler-Free peeps avoid that link!

Yeah, you cant wait. Two years ago I went nuts waiting. I think I stayed up until 2am chatting here on the spoiler free thread about movie we watched lately and all sorts of loopy topics. That was the keynote that took 12 hours to post, the iPhone 4 I think? Lately I just check around 9 and give up until the next morn.

I did like the few events a while ago that were live streamed. More hype when Jobs was presenting?

It still seems a little ridiculous that these events aren't live-streamed by Apple, since we obviously know they have the capability.

When I try the "Snow Leopard" stream, I get nothing but an Apple logo over the usual Keynote gradient and a 1000 Hz tone. Tried one of the other links, and like IHTS said, it appears to be the 4S launch.

Edit: Tried the "iPad" link on my iPad (2!), and got the same result as the SL stream above.

Hey everyone!

The stream is up, but something's weird going on with the keynote stream. It looks like uploaded it too early. Here's how you could watch it:

1- Open Quicktime, then go File > Open Location.
2- Paste this into the location box: http://qthttp.apple.com.edgesuite.net/123pibhargjknawdconwecown/sl_vod_mvp.m3u8
3- It'll now play some sort of placeholder video. Advance the video to minute 38, and they keynote should start playing.

I think the checker is ker-put :-( But the address for the stream is in a /mar/ directory (march)?

Nevermind... thanks Voidness

Well, whaddya know. Looks like that works. Good find — I just assumed that the entire video was that logo shot & tone!

Thanks again man, this link works directly on an iPhone and without the filler tone!

No Windows solution yet? The .m3u8 version isn't working on my Quicktime or VLC.

Thanks Voidness. Works for me too. However the quality is pretty bad, do we have any other links for a better one?

Just in case someone else is having the issue...you must cut and paste the Snow Leopard URL. Dont copy and paste what people have pasted here.
