Since it was a pre-order you'd think that if a payment error did occur they would allow you time to fix it (especially seeing as we have a week and a half to go) without delaying delivery. How annoying!
I checked my account (Nationwide) and nothing is showing up as of yet, however it doesn't show 'pending' transactions online like some other banks do.
I checked my statement and last year my payment was taken on the 15th (the Monday before delivery).

I think I read yesterday someone had a payment issue and after resolving it their order went to 'preparing for dispatch' and then later went to 'processing items'. I'll try and find it.
Or maybe yours is ready to be shipped

Oh crap I forgot to cancel my order (or rather hadn't gotten around to doing so as been away with work last 2 days ) and it is now preparing for dispatch! I have an in store reservation for 8am so was planning to go for that instead.
Guess I can just take back to the post office at the same time as sending my 5s to Envirofone (or have a back up if I sleep in on the 25th!)
Was on phone to the bank earlier and there was only a £1 pending transaction then - in fact two - one on the 11th and one on the 12th.

It could be that the phones are shipping from China and are getting them ready there, however it's also a little early as I've had UPS deliver stuff from China in 2 days before :/
Mine has changed to, within the last couple of hours, since I checked this morning. Haven't had any payment problems that I'm aware of.
Yep I agree but having them preparing already to me indicated they are coming from China which is great as we can scout out the UPS planes etc.
Maybe too early to see a trend from just the two of us, but might well be, hehe.
That said, being first to ship isn't always great - my watch was in the first shipment, but my friends who shipped the next day got theirs at 8am by UKMail and mine came at 5:30pm by UPS

Aye, we've got masses of time left - I wasn't expecting any movement until mid-next week. That said, they might have some in China being shipped over and some in staging areas in the UK already. I guess we'll tell from the batch numbers once they start appearing in Support Profile.
I have 2 orders, one for the missus and one for myself. Obviously Apple wants to score brownie points from the missus and moved that to 'preparing for shipment', while mine is still at processing... Money booked on my CC for the missus.
