and I have some cheapo eBay ones coming in that are similar to the Elago, but with no branding and the Apple logo showing through slightly...

what I don't like about the Elago is how thin it is. maybe if it weren't so flimsy, I'd be okay. like, if it were a thin but hard PC. but it's like the same exact material as a school folder that you used to put your homework in, in grade school. and it's just as slippery as those folders were. I wonder if these makers ever test handling, themselves. it just makes me wonder. it's pretty much only good against scratches and scuffs.

the Spigen Thin Fit actually provides protection against bumps so long as you don't bump it on its top or bottom...

so despite the lesser coverage of the Spigen, it's handling and feel win my preferred vote to use it over all the other bumpers and cases.

So the elego is flimsy on the sides? Do the sides of the case flex very easily? It looks really nice at first glance. Thinking for the price....might as well order one myself.

I bought the one, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KKWHC1M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The back matches the MB backing of the phone that shows through perfectly. Seems like it will provide reasonable drop protection. I wanted a Spigen Air Cushion but apparently they screwed up the molds and the fixed ones won't be out for a while. Satisfied but may change down the line. Skipped all the clear back ones. Nice in theory but between reflections and scratches just didn't seem to make them practical.

Down the line when Otterbox drops to reasonable prices I'll pick up a commuter to try out but no dropping $50 on one right now.

I just got my Peel case, and have to say that I am extremely disappointed. The shipment was delayed, reportedly because of "demand" for the product... but it's cheap, flimsy and not even of the quality of the $10 Elago case on Amazon.

This one is going back to Peel.

Man...Thanks for posting this. I was thinking of cancelling my Apple leather case order and going with the Peel case.

Much appreciated.

So for now, when my Apple "Sea Blue" leather case gets delivered next week, I will be returning my Apple Silicone case.

the whole material is the same all over. imagine a plastic folder from Five Star/Mead modeled to the shape of the iPhone. that's what it is. maybe if it had grip despite being flimsy, I'd probably sport it. it's just as slippery as the phone, itself. I'll just keep them for backup. I still have my eBay ones from China coming, whenever that will be.

I am using spigen neo hybird case for my iPhone 7 plus. The case is so slim and protective. If you like non bulky and slim case then go for it.

I also have vrs design leather wallet case for iPhone 7 plus.

I bought the Caudabe case from them direct. A warning. Caudabe took £17.23 for the case. Fine and good. But, today I have a card from Royal Mail saying I owe £11.24 Customs charge! (I'm in the UK)

Any tips? If I don't pick it up will it just be returned to Caudabe?

Great pictures and thanks for the review.
I just got my Pitaka in and giving it a little time to decide how I feel about it.
First impressions are decent packaging and a nice hand written thank you card.

As you see in the last pic here Im pretty disappointed with the gaskets for the camera hump :(. I thought they were hard plastic and somehow molded to the case. It's a soft rubber type that attracts lint like a muther f*****

Sorry having problems loading pictures.
Working on it now.

I want to load more pictures but such a hassle so I hope you all get the idea.

Right now, my main case is the apple red leather case. I loved my leather (black) case for my 6+ so definitely wanted to get one for the 7+. It's perfect for me. Leather looks and feels great without the bulk.

I also have this jack spade case which makes the phone more bulkier imo but in a good way. Feels more "protected". It looks good and something different. However, having this black phone, I found I saw more lint on the front sides of the case which can be a bit annoying.

I have a fun snap on case on its way from red bubble. So looking forward to receiving that one.

Update I have had the ringke clear case, uag monarch, speck presidio grip and now the uag clear plasma.

Ringke case was like £6 and is ok for a clear case no issues with it.

Uag monarch was bulky and added quite a bit of extra weight. The new screws on it spin and rattle when putting phone on table or if it vibrates very annoying. The so called extra grip on sides was non existent and felt slippery to me. So yeh it looks cool but I returned it.

Speck presidio grip I liked but seemed to add bit of weight to the phone. The extra was decent but I felt like it effected the balance of the phone. Also the part of the case which has no grip was very slippery. I preferred this case to the monarch though. I returned it though.

Uag plasma clear very happy with this case nice and lightweight very good screen raiseivity and offers more grip than the monarch and in my hands feels better than all of the above. Not to mention looks awesome with the Matt black 7 plus. This is my current case of choice.

Where did you get the UAG plasma clear? Is it from a UK store?

Ive currently got a Ringke fusion on my matte black plus in smoke colour.

Its a nice case but very plain and dust seems to get in round the back.

Broke my 6 and ordered a 7 on Monday with Express shipping so I only had a few days to get a case. I ordered a Diztronic case on Amazon because I used their matte black one on my 6 and really liked it.

They're offering a new, laser etched patterned version now and it's quite nice. Very slightly slimmer than the 6 case in a nice way and the pattern is really cool in the light, in a holographic kind of way.

https://www.amazon.com/iPhone-Diztronic-Matte-Slim-Fit-Flexible/dp/B01LQYC9T8?th=1&psc=1

Took this picture with my 7 lol, but I can probably get a pic of the phone in the case with my iPad if anyone really wants to see.

After the horrible fit of my Tech21 EVO Tactical case, I sent in photos and a report ticket. The reply email said they would respond in 1 to 3 days. It's been 6. Nothing. What has happened to this once great company...

Got this in the mail today. It's from caseology. I like it much better than the spigen liquid armor. It's similar to the spigen rough armor.
