First Apple product was the 1st gen iPod Touch. Loved that thing to death. Still working to this day, although I hardly use it.

My last product was 2013 Macbook Pro Retina.

I'm not sure if I've posted this already, but my first Apple product was an Apple IIGS. It was trash-picked when I lived in Fort Riley, KS. I got the monitor, system, 3.5" floppy drive (1.44MB), keyboard, mouse, and a handful of software, most of which couldn't be used as it was on 5.25" disks.

It depends on the context!

The first Apple product I used was a Macintosh LC 575:

The first Apple product that was mine, that I received as a gift was an iMac G3 DV Special Edition:

And the first Apple product that I purchased myself, with my own money, that isn't an accessory, is a used Late 2006 black MacBook:

And it still works. Or at least it worked when I last checked, one year ago.

My first Apple product was the iPhone 4S. It was the best mobile device that I had ever used until I bought the iPhone 5

Mac Mini

My first Apple product was the original 2005 Mac Mini (base model)….. it was also the first computer I ever owned. The first Apple product (and computer) I used was the original Mac a couple of decades before.

My second was the early 2009 Mini, bought when the HDD and the power supply on the original broke down and I decided replacement was a better option than repair.

I have yet to reach my third Apple product…… It will probably be another Mac Mini, when the one I have now is not worth repairing or upgrading, but I don't see that being any time soon.

I have neither need, nor desire for any other Apple gadget in my simple world.

Performa 6300CD was the family's first Mac (I was 7-8)

This was eventually replaced by a Lime Green iMac DV.

The first computer that was completely mine was a Ruby Red iMac DV that I got for Christmas.

I still have it in storage.

My first was the iMac G3 Snow - 2002 revision (Apple continued to sell the G3 after the G4 launched and they made a tiny revision to it in 2002)

A first generation iPod Touch.

Since then I've owned a iPhone 3GS, 4S, iPad 2, Macbook 2009, and now a Macbook Pro Retina late 2013.

The first Apple product I bought (December 2005) was a 2GB Black iPod Nano as a Christmas gift for a family member.

The first Apple computer I purchased was a refurbished 15” 2007 MacBook Pro. I figured if it didn’t have the same specs as our Dell Towers it would be a dog. I quickly found out that with Mac Computers, the specs were deceiving and the MBP was way too much computer for my needs at the time. Passed it on to my son, then Apple graciously replaced it (the wonders of AppleCare) with a brand new late 2008 (Unibody) 15” MBP. He still has it as his back-up notebook today.

First Apple Product was an iPhone 3GS in 2009.

Since then, the collection has grown considerably. Halo effect indeed.
