I agree..... I just know Apple is going to absolutely SCREW me and mine is lost in the system somewhere. Then I'm going to get some damn email saying they are unable to fufill the order becuase of this or that.... that my business is very important to them and they will then ask that I bear with them.....

...and the day has arrived! I ordered on the 11th at 12:57 AM PST and it (Black 64GB Wi-Fi) took three business days to arrive after being shipped. Well done FedEx and Apple, well done.

Apple said it wouldn't arrive until the 18th, and FedEx said the 17th by 4:30 PM. The 18th would have been the 5th business day and that still would have fallen under their original 3-5 day shipping.

Congrats to those receiving theirs today and good luck to those still waiting for their shipments to achieve forward progress.

When it first gets to a sort center it's in the warehouse mixed in with a crap ton of other packages. You can't pick it up as they aren't going to go dig around and find it for you.

Once you've asked for pick up, they'll find it and put it on a shelf in the back room behind the customer desk so they can easily find it when you arrive to pick it up.

I realize that That as i have done this on every launch, I thought Apple has changed it pick up policy but NOPE they still HAVE to make one attempt at delivery before you can pick it up:(

G*D Dammit! You ordered 1 hour and 24 minutes AFTER I did..... I actually decided NOT to get engraving becuase I was sure it would SLOW DOWN the process!!!!!!!!

SCREW APPLE!!!!!! Mine is still sitting in Not Yet Shipped. APPLE SUCKS.

I hope whatever moron came up with Apple's bulls*it shipping stragegy chokes

yup mine are "in" newark too


i wont be surprised that they already left and wont get scanned til they reach their final sort facility to be delivered

so dont think they're stuck there


often times fedex does this in newark to speed things along

I ordered mine at 12:49 am PST on the 11th and so far still in "Not Yet Shipped" status. If yours has shipped, I would love to know what time you placed your order and what part of the country the ipad is shipping to. Thanks.

I ordered the same model and it has yet to budge. Very annoying.

Mine is still not yet shipped - placed around the same time and same model

Getting a bit annoyed and with all the customer service refund posts, I think I'll make a call to see what I can get

my white 16GB wi-fi ipad finally shipped and has an estimated delivery of March 23. got my 16GB wi-fi black ipad and smart covers yesterday, so my order is almost complete :D
 
Anyone know what the factory operating hours in China are? I am at prepared to ship hoping to get to FED ASAP (wishful thinking I know) but just wondering what the factory and Fed Ex "normal" day is. I am thinking it is not 24 hours, but more than our 9-5 "normal" ? Looked like Fed Ex closes at 7 pm local time, but then some slips show they received it after "cut-off" but still processed it and moved it on that night? I know I need to get a life....
