Email delete on server not working

Today I decided to check my comcast.net email account via Outlook and I was totally surprised to see all the email I deleted from my iphone still there in the inbox. I usually check via Outlook every week or two but for some reason the past week or so the delete on server setting is not working.

I have mine set to delete "when removed from inbox" and it doesn't happen. Anyone else seeing this on POP accounts?
 
Same here - Comcast e-mail accounts won't delete mail on the server. I think it's a known issue with pop mail accounts.
 
Don't think so. I have another POP account setup on my iPhone and it seems to work for deleting on the server. Maybe its comcast.
