Somewhere Back In The Long Ago
This really made me mad. A close friend, Windows rules the world kind of guy, says to me yesterday..." Yeah, your apple stuff looks great, but it doesn't work as well as Windows"

WHAT!!,!,"""""""""" etc.

He has an old Windows mobile based mobile which he swears is better than my iphone4 IN WHAT POSSIBLE WAY?

A PC I built a few years ago running Windows 7 he also thinks is better than my iMac.

ATV. " wouldn't touch it with a barge pole"

iPad " That's just a toy"

I'm going to buy him one for Christmas, and make him eat his words

GRRRRRRR?????????:D

Well, his old WP phone does better in being more horrible. :D

I bet even a simple iPod would change his mind about Apple. ;)

Thing Is

He is brain washed, What should I buy him, an iPhone or an iPad?

No way can I afford to get him an imac:)

Yeah, he has been a friend for years. BTW he won't even have a go on any of my stuff, so how can he know? Is he physic?

Windows mobile is the worst offering ever in a whole load from MS

Maybe it's just your friend's smart and subtle way to make you buy him an iPhone. Maybe he love Apple so much on the inside :p

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_5 like Mac OS X; de-de) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8L1 Safari/6533.18.5)

Maybe he just likes Windows better, where is the problem with that? Different people have different tastes. No company can make the perfect product for everybody out there. Choice is a good thing.

P.s.: One thing he got right, the iPad is a toy, but so are a ps3, a wii and an xbox for example.

I Totally Disagree

The iPad is comes very close to my idea of the perfect mobile cloud device.

I write articles on it, compose music via Amplitube, and find it invaluable for work.

It's not a toy at all. I was of that view, but know better now :)
