photos in itunes with ios4 and iPhoto

I had upgraded my 3g and now have an iPhone 4 and the same issue presents itself with photos when I plug the phone in and the photos on the iPhone pop up on iPhoto. Here's the deal. I can see all the photos that I take with the phone but if I modify the pictures with one of the photoshop apps I have then I can't see the picture unless I download it into photoshop. This wouldn't be so bad but I can't always remember which photos are which when they just show up as a white square. Any ideas anyone?

OK, I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't just something with my Mac or something. Looks like they didn't get it fixed with this 4.0.1 update. It's not a huge deal but is kinda frustrating.
