Now first of all..

THIS THING IS ABSOLUTELY THEFT PROOF: (when you flip it up IS HIDEOUS!)

it looks like 1995 receiver.. ugly ugly.. but what it does is actually pretty good.. it holds and charges your iPhone and it has a separate out for your subwoofer. (if you have one) (Which means you don't have to control the overall bass of your car with only bass but you can have your speakers at a lower bass lever and turn up your subwoofer way up without getting all the rattling from your speakers.. selling point for me)

it has a small remote that controls the iPhone very well and yes it is compatible with my iPhone 4.

For the price is a pretty good deal in my opinion.

I was gonna buy a stereo with an AUX in plus a holder/car adaptor and i was gonna spend well over $100 and my truck was gonna be full of cables and stuff.. so i think this is excellent in that part.

The faceplate is NOT motorized, you have to flip it with your hand, so again.. this is not a luxury receiver.. it's ugly while closed but it does look actually very nice when you put your iPhone/iPod on it.

I got the older model (XMK8100) which kicks 40 watts less than the model i listed but being that i have an older model Ford truck is probably better for my old speakers.

I really like that the dock adaptor is extended so you don't have to take the case off your phone for it to go all the way in.. as well as the arms that hold it (very sturdily i may add) are also adjustable and they will hold an iPhone with maybe even an otterbox case.

Anyhow just wanted to post this because i just stumbled on it at wall mart while looking for a phone holder and i am quite happy with it..

here is the amazon link for the newer model: (i bought the older model)
