I've been running my ATT unlimited iphone sim inside my new verizon ipad it for the past few hours and have not had any emails or messages. I guess when they started throttling they let up on using the iphone sims in ipads..

i might try that
anything id need to change?
no lte which is a bummer lol and no ways to receive calls but still
 
att detects if you use your iphone on ipad.

1st time it did take few hours, now whenever i switch, i get an email right away & the cut the data off automatically, until you call them :(

Really? Interesting. So all this sim swapping and unauthorized tethering can actually catch up with folks? Hmmmmm... :apple:

did you try this recently on the new verizon ipad or are you talking about the older ipad2? I've been running this for a while still. I have not been cut off or received an email..
