Verizon Loophole Method

Just making sure this is correct: I transferred the upgrade to the dumbphone line and upgraded to iPhone 5 and selected 2GB data plan. When the iPhone 5 arrives, take it into Verizon and have them transfer the phone to my line (which has unlimited data) and I will keep unlimited data, right? Anyone do it this way?

Is this the way others have done it? Just making sure I did everything correctly
 
I did a similar move with the same understanding...

Pre ordered on the dumb phone line and selected the 2gb plan. When it arrives I will switch the iPhone to my other line, put the dumb phone back on that line, and cancel the data on the dumb phone.

According to this site, with references to Verizon chats, this appears to be true.
