good news for A5+ users

Apple has oddly started to re-sign 6.0.x on a bunch of devices. If you're an A5+ user and want to downgrade, DO IT NOW.

You'll have to go all the way back to 6.0.2 for this to work. 6.1.2 will not work

Here are the firmwares current being re-signed by Apple

If you lost your jailbreak due to updating, a crash, or whatever, for some unknown reason Apple is signing a whole bunch of older firmware.

So, if you act quick, you can restore ! (download the IPSW of the firmware being signed by Apple and navigate to it using iTunes. Remember, your host file must point to Apple !

It works people!! Just downgraded an iPhone 5 GSM from 6.1.4 to 6.0.2 with no issues!! Props to the OP for getting this up quick!

However guys - just keep in mind that restoring to this old of an iOS essentially invalidates most of your recent phone backups, so you'll have to set it up as new. 🙂

Still though, great.

Me too! I submitted this thread for jailbreak hardcore fans maybe those t mobile users with no jailbreak

since I have my udid registered I really love iOS 7 and can't wait for beta 4! This is a good thing I guess now imagine ios 7 + jailbreak combo! It's going to rock!!

By the way, what the hell is going on at apple? Their servers and systems are going ape ****
 
My thanks going out as well.
Was able to get back on 6.0.2 on iP5 for a re-jailbreak. I've been using an iP4 as I missed my jailbreak so much.
 
Damn, just missed it.
Was going to have an i5 downgraded but too late.
I wonder what happened all of a sudden and they started signing up to 6.0.2?
 
This SUCKS I was at work and now can't downgrade I hate 6.1.4 no Jailbreak. Come on Apple it's my phone let me use it how I see fit!!!!!!!!!!!
