Does anyone have any idea how these power settings can be tweaked or adjusted on a Macbook Pro mid-2012? I just installed a Crucial M550 as my main drive and put HDD in optibay and would like to make sure I am getting the best possible power consumption that the SSD has to offer. I see that in Windows you can mess with the HIPM and DIPM settings, but I don't see how this is possible in Mavericks.

Here is my post on the Crucial forum also: http://forum.crucial.com/t5/Solid-S...-2012-Power-options-DIPM-HIPM-etc/td-p/153400

The reason I am asking is that it makes a huge difference for "slumber" power consumption when those are enabled: http://www.anandtech.com/show/7864/crucial-m550-review-128gb-256gb-512gb-and-1tb-models-tested/8.

EDIT: For what its worth, I did a clean install and restored apps and settings from my old HD. I did not clone.
