I know that there are a few sata cases out there, but does there exist a good looking one 😕

All look like crap, does anyone know of a nice one 😕

Thanks

Well since no one seems to know for the moment, can someone tell me how I get the data from my SATA drive in my PC to my iMac easily. 😕

Thanks....I was going to just get it in a FW case and then transfer it, but well..any help apriciated 😉

I would check out Wiebetech.com. They make high quality cases and some may be cosmetically appealing as well.

Thanks, but they have one...great but 169 bucks 😱 😡

Then I could buy a new lacie case with a 160GB drive in it😱

There are adapters like this one that will let you use a SATA drive in a more common IDE enclosure. You'll want to make sure that you get a roomy enclosure so that the board will fit. (Careful when buying these adapters, most are made to put parallel drives onto a SATA cable, just the opposite of what you want.)

Thanks a lot....any more 😕

The only other board I know about is made by Startech, erm (click click) try googling for SATA2ATA133. If you want to do it without a bridge board, ugly enclosures seem to be the rule :/

This one from Komplett isn't too ugly, ok it might not win any design awards, but still... 😉

Not sure about the red and green light on this one, but it's NOK100 cheaper than the one above...

Cannot find any SATA enclosures with FireWire, though... 😱

An ethernet cable between the PC and the Mac?
