Found a cheap but very good Glass alternative

After being tired of searching for a perfect Glass protector for Iphone 6 (4.7), I bought a cheap one from ebay. It goes on for around $11. Received it in 12 days.

It fits perfectly though. It is similar to the iVisor from Moshi which is not out yet.
The edges are not curved as advertised but it covers the complete screen. Since, the edges are flat it sometime feel sharp but it didn't bother me in any way. Best part to avoid that is to use a not so tight case. So, I put on the i-blason case on top of that and now its looks perfect. No sharp edges or anything. Works smoothly. I wouldn't say that it is the best one, but for the price it is definitely very good compared to whatever we have on the market as of today.

Awesome pics! I ordered a colored tempered glass SP from eBay but I think it has a more mirrored look on the colored parts. It's going to take awhile as well(coming from China). Can you post a link please? Will see if there's a 6+ version. Thanks.

very tacky of you to comment on another vendors product

Why? They can comment on anything you can comment on.....

----------

It's far from professional to comment on other products other than your own.

Moshi has always made excellent products. I think it's very wise of them to wait and learn from the mistakes and flaws from others before jumping into an already crowded market. It looks good on the phone too.

Check www.moshi.com
LoL get over it. EVERY company comments on another's product in each advert they do....

What case is that? Looks nice

@idyll and @mgerla

Yes, it is the hybrid halo case. Got it from Amazon. Although, if you are planning to buy one then want to point out that the back side of the case is little slippery.

Yeah, this looks exactly the one that I bought in Black color. Just different brand.

@NoAndroidPlz

Just a question on your pics. How is it that the protector goes so far past the screen width-wise, and still adheres to the screen past the curve? All other protectors I've seen that go that far wider than the screen do not adhere at the edges? In your pic it looks like the screen protector goes way past just the width of the screen.

@Darthsat

The screen protector does not go beyond the curve part and moreover the screen protector is not curved at the edges. So, it in reality does not stick at the edges completely. Rather it stays flat but it does not go beyond the complete screen. This is the reason why I am using a case as well which covers the flat edges of the screen protector.
Yeah, it sounds like lot of complications but I guess this is the nature of this generation of iphones and we have deal with it :confused:

Just a FYI, the Benks and Nillkin glass protectors on ebay are exactly the same, just different branding and packaging.

I ordered a ivisor ag yesterday for the 6. I have one for my iPad and really like it. I love that I didn't have to worry about bubbles. Worse part of the screen protectors IMO.

I had a Zagg on my 5 that was put on by best buy and it still wasn't perfect.

So hopefully Moshi has the curves figured out.

Where did you order iVisor for the iPhone 6? cannot order from their website.

I was hoping it would arrive on Amazon but it hasn't yet, so I got it from the website

Can you post the link how to order from their website? There is no buy or order page, can't find anywhere. Thanks.

Moshi Edge-Edge Glass protector

You add to cart. I'm not sure what it's made of, should tell you what it's made of in the description

It's not the glass version

----------

It's like a plastic type thing...don't know how to describe it sorry

I believe someone post pictures in another thread about the AG. I haven't received mine yet. The thread is "Moshi I visor ag for 6/6+ is now available"

perhaps you need to read the forum rules.
I don't need to do crap... they can comment on what ever they wish and if there is a price to pay they'll pay it. Move on now, thanks for playing.

Can't wait for this pro to go live.... Looks like what most are waiting for in a protector. May not work with some cases it seems but the current run of glass pro for the 6/6+ is pathetic at best. I'm running the iLoome and it's acceptable and probably the best out there for "total" protection in glass IMHO.

Did the manufacturer explain why there are two cut out holes for the ambient light sensor? One which is way off.
