Writing on an internet site, Mr Burton said he met Blunt in 2001 and his music was "crude, occasionally laughably direct, and betrayed his relative lack of musicianship or discernible influence".

Nothing's changed there then. :p

Who'd have thought... James Blunt and 'controversial' would ever be uttered in the same sentence. :p :p :p

I would have thought most people would have taken legal action to say that they weren't responsible for James Blunt... :p

Yep, it takes some balls to admit that you could be (partially) responsible for some of those songs.

I like James Blunt... *blushes*

I'm really amazed he got number 1 in the US, another victory for us Brits!

Maybe the fact that he use to be a soldier helped him out cus like certain groups of people have a thing for ex servicemen, I never did understand that.

I am amazed that he has managed to sell at all. I think his music is just horrible. 'Us Brits' have much better to offer the world than this rubbish.

Burton: "You wrote all the songs for 'Back To Bedlam', admit it!"

Blunt: "No, it was you. YOU wrote the songs!"

Burton: "Oh no I di'int!"

Blunt: "Oh yes you did"

Burton: "Nuh-uh!"

Blunt: "Uh-huh!" *snaps fingers*

Steven Mead, from the Royal Northern College of Music! He deserves a Brit award for being better than James Blunt.

My cat is better than James Blunt - and I don't have a cat!

Veterans usually catch the attention of other vets...no conspiracy there, more like brotherly interest.

Hang on a minute

I think this was the site (but dont quote me on it)

that last year somebody said they liked James Blunt and they got a reply saying

"Why can you not listen to an American Artist like Daniel Powter" (YES I know hes a Canadian makes it even more funny:p )

Might have been tongue in cheek (maybe not:( )

Usually when I hear the term "American", I tend to include anyone who is from either the North or South American continents. Canadians ARE Americans...North Americans. :)
