Hopefully $79 for Leopard  expecially with Microsoft's release of Vista today/tomarrow.

  • iLife
  • iWork
  • iLife Family Pack ($99)

ummm, more like...

  • pink shuffle
  • blue shuffle
  • green shuffle
  • black shuffle

iLife & iWork are rumored to be tightly integrated with Leopard, meaning no major software releases until Leopard is released

Unless of course it's iLife (Mac), iLife (Windows) iWork (Mac) iWork (Windows) :p

Of course Apple would probably just release Mac and Windows versions in a single box since they don't want to have the Heinz 57 varieties that Vista and Office come in.

I agree it's probably new shuffles, you forgot the obvious (RED) shuffle, but one can dream right?

My hopes are low...

Hmmmm... If iLife is one of the updates, my optimistic guess would be a GarageBand Jampack as well.

Unfortunately, the announcement of 4 simultaneous products at the same price point on the same day suggests to me 4 variations of a single product... like 4 colors for iPod shuffles or something LAME like that. (1 shuffle is enough if you ask me... unless we want to start including them in boxes of crackerjack.)

Yep, around 6am or 7am Cupertino time sounds right if past quiet releases are anything to go by.

So that's.... carry the one.... divide by three... add price of fish....

about 1am to 2am my time.

Oh goody, gonna be a long night for four coloured shuffles.

Mmm. I dont think I can do a late one tonight. Hopefully it will happen about 11pm.

It could have something to do with the rumored Beatles deal. There were four members in the group so Apple could offer John, Paul, Ringo and George Shuffles.

I will mortgage everything, take a bank loan, and buy 10,000!

Then... scrap those beautiful machines to retrieve the precious Xeon chips, and the ram.... the crap graphics cards that comes with macs makes for nice frisbees...

Can't help it can you. Did Steve Jobs lure you into his darkened shed when you were younger, or it that bag of Potatoes on your shoulder a added extra?

Its Up Now!

New iPod shuffles!

Actually I've been lagging in updating my .mac to see if they actually lower the price. Then amazon should lower it too! The color shuffles are awesome! I don't need/want one but they're fancy. Nothing else new that I see but it was a quick glance because I am late for work.

I want the orange one, now if they could just add the orange one to the nano range I think that would be an easy way for me to buy a second nano!

It wouldn't be any great feat for them to do it. The shuffle uses the exact same aluminum extrusion as the nano.

not quite - the nano doesnt have the hump for the clip but would probably be done using an extrusion process the same as the shuffle.

In terms of changing the colours on a nano, piece of cake - its just the colour used in the anodising process which would need changing, everything else is the same.

I would really like the look of a red shuffle..

but would they still be able to donate the ten dollars? i mean, shuffles are only $79

It would probably be more like $2.00 but still, that's something.

I like the look of the red, also.

The red looks awesome. If they had one I'd get one even though I have a red nano and a 60 gb video. I haven't a need for the shuffle but oh well!
