Supposed Bestbuy listings show no new price?

Gizmodo has received evidence that the new Macbooks prices will not lower and that they will stay the same.

Best Buy shows the price will stay the same, but is it true? Heres a few photo's, They show news colors and prices, These may be true pictures

Heres the price and models
GREEN = $1,999.99 - 15" MacBook Pro base model
PURPLE = $2,799.99 - 17" MacBook Pro base model
YELLOW = $1,499.99 - 13" MacBook top end model
BLUE = $2,499.99 - 15" MacBook Pro mid model
ORANGE = $1,299.99 - 13" MacBook mid Model
RED = $1,099.99 - 13" MacBook base model

Exactly.

I'm pretty sure they don't know much more then us. Apple generally don't give away any information to retailers. If the prices are confirmed different during the event tomorrow, they will change them.
 
Meh... i dont think i would actually like the colors. Id end up going to the store and they would run out of the cool colors. and id have to wait a week unless i got a pink macbook.
 
I just find it amusing that the pics are from the Best Buy in San Angelo, TX. I remember when they didn't even have a Best Buy in San Angelo

OMG also the new MB/MBPs are going to weigh .01 LBs, take that MB Air! /sarcasm
 
Hopefully they will produce a color that looks like vomit that way thieves will be deterred from stealing it.
 
I cannot see them doing coloured MBPs.... well maybe a black one and a silver one but not GREEN!

MBs though would be sweet!

i think it is just a place holder they dont yet know the prices or when they will have them. the date says 11/9.

I don't see this as evidence for prices staying the same.

Quite on the contrary, I take these prices as indication that they're not the price tags on the actual products. I think they just used current prices as a placeholder then. If any, even just one model would not fit into Apple's current pricing structure (even, let's say, the high-end model being 2,899$) this would appear much more plausible to me.

I mean... there are 6 notebook models list, right? Chances are that Apple will have tinkered with prices on at least one or two of them.
 
I will actually be suprised if BB has them for sell tomorrow. I can see Apple store with them, but more than likely BB a day or 2 behind with updated price sheets and what not.

Those colors would be horrible, well any colors other than silver (incase of the aluminum design), white, and black.
Especially if it was aluminum.
A green aluminum MacBook... no thank you.
And those price points seem exactly the same, that would mean that about 80% of our rumors and predictions where wrong.
