Never had this problem until recently. No major changes (ie. new software) can be blamed.

It just won't wake up from sleep (when closed). I have to reboot to restart:mad:

Suggestions?

Take the battery out, hold down the power button for 5 seconds. Reboot the computer, put it to sleep. If it doesn't wake up after that create another account and put it to sleep then. If it still doesn't wake up, something on it is failing.

It's right there in my signature;)
D'oh! Sorry bud!

What he said! *Pretends he knew this and is not writing it down in case it happens to him*

I disabled the password-protection security to wake it up and that seems to help for now.

I need to clarify impreza's advice:

"Take the battery out, hold down the power button for 5 seconds."

I assume that means take the battery out after it's been powered off?

"Reboot the computer, put it to sleep."

Sleep with lid closed?

"If it doesn't wake up after that create another account and put it to sleep then."

Create another account and log in with that account or just create it?
