Well, the iTunes store has a little prank going.
You can download John Cage's 4'33"

Pretty funny for people who might don't know the track.
I read somewhere this morning (and now I can't find it to link it) about this new iPhone/iPod feature:
The iPhone/iPod gets heavier the more songs you have on it, and lighter the less songs you have on it.
Pretty funny - and strangely, Apple-like.
Gmail April fools
nothing there yet, but there is a link to:
"New! Gmail Autopilot" beside settings at the top

Very cool! That would be great for parties!
Maybe not, but I see that didn't stop MR from posting an ad for a prank bundle...MacRumors does not participate in April Fools' Day prank news stories. All stories posted today are real.

Is that the April Fools gag?
Happy birthday![]()
To clarify:
- We never purposely pose stories that we know to be false, on April 1 or any other day.
- We do not make up news stories or rumors, on April 1 or any other day.
- In reporting the news on April 1, we work even harder than usual to avoid posting stories that are real-looking but are in fact pranks.
- We enjoy jokes around the Internet on April 1 as much as anyone, and members are welcome to discuss them and point them out in this thread.
- We've been known to add surprises to our own site, as long as they don't prevent people from getting the real news and rumors.
