Hi All,
I found in Dixon shops in London some fantastic prices. MacBook 2.0ghz is at 800 pounds while the 2.4 is 920 pounds.

I wonder how they can do these prices? It sound a good offer compared to Apple.

What do you think about Dixon? Cheers

I wonder if Dixon online allows to ship the product outside UK?
Apple store can't allow to ship to another country.

Pixmania have the 2.0ghz for £843, they will ship if there is a pixmania online store pressence in the country that you want it shipping to.

That's their VAT free price you get at the airport.

Not bad

A friend of a friend was able to get a MacBook Air from PC World for £729, it was an ex display. I asked if they had anymore and he said that they were clearing out all old stock/display models.

Going to pop into my local stores at the weekend.

You'll only be able to get it at that price if you're travelling outside the EU. Alternatively, buy an Apple refurb for similar money

Looking at Dixons website today, they've put up an offer for £35 off purchases over £500. The 2.0 Alu MacBook is still at £843, making it £808 inc free delivery. Good value, IMO.

Some time ago PC World had previous gen alu iMac's for £350 each as an EOL special.

It seems to be, I've been shopping around for the last few weeks and the only thing cheaper than that is a refurb from Apple. Hope this £35 offer lasts for the next few days.

*wishes it was payday*

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

My bonus is due this month and it's already burning a whole in my pocket.
