So Im going to cardiff university (medicine), and my dads gonna get me a mac for the 5 year course.....better value for money over time methinks (my rev a imac g5 running leopard right here, no way would a pc be able to go the equivalent of panther tiger leopard! unfortunately stops after today--snow leopard for intel only 
)
Anyway! Probs gonna get 13/15 inch MBP. Dad was like yeh ill get you a desktop too, since its bad for your eyes if its a small screen. (hes a bit of a noob at computers). So i was like no well just get an external display.
Reasons for not getting led 24 inch: cant plug other stuff in. expensive.
reasons for getting it: all the normal ones eg looks good, charges mac at the same time etc.
What i want is a largish display, that looks as good as the led, but can have an xbox or something put into it. Best would be a tv which could do all this. prefereable hd.
