I would love light painting sometime ...... but not now. I only have a $75 P/S camera to play with. Can we keep that one on the back burner - I might even buy a tripod :D

Bugger I miss my camera :(

I need the theme to be Lomography :D

or we can have a topic of like something symbolic about your city or what does your city/place you live in mean.

like new york city for times square, or san fransisco for its golden gate bridge etc... things like that.

My camera and I are separated by 2000 miles whilst I study in Cambridge. So I guess I could do a few photos of Kings College etc on the little P/S.

This has been here for two days and I just noticed... Shame on me...

How about Hard/Soft? Not necessarily in the same image. One of those broad interpretation things where you can pick one or the other. Or both.

I was wondering when my cat header was going to arrive. ;) I like the ideas out so far... keep discussing.

OK - I'm good for all of the last 3 suggestions.

Eyes or Lines
Hard/Soft
Height

Are all fine with me and all achievable with my borrowed $75 camera  - Hopefully the weather will turn nice - Cambridge UK has gone grey again :(

Oh good! noncommittal voting!

My camera is back from the shop, so maybe I can post something other than swamps before the current challenge closes...:)...

As Doylem says, keep nattering.

Edit: I found this while at Luminous Landescape:

Luminous

1. radiating or reflecting light; shining; bright.

2. clear; readily intelligible

Anyone for a bucket of cold water?

How do those of us with no families manage two weeks of shooting Eyes? How would Height differ from what we did with Perspective? Both of these seem limiting to me.

I'll be out of town for about 1/2 of this one, so I'm not really trying to spoil the party. Just being my analytical self......

Note: I will not quit MR if you go with this.

You yourself dont have eyes? I agree its limiting, but might force you to think a little bit more about your approach, no?

Edit: All animals, bugs, and creatures have eyes as well. ;)

Needles and stoves have eyes:)

You could also interpret it as "ayes" and shoot a voting situation. :D

Or even some sort of pirate theme? OK, the last two were reaching a bit.

I apologize for the hissy fit... Gets like that sometimes. Too much rain.

This is the current consensus.
