OS X 10.9.3 brings official support for 4K Retina and MST

YES! A friend told me that 60Hz now works just fine on the 32" UP3214Q as well, even on up to three monitors! The 3200x1800 scaling is pleasing for the eyes, but currently appears buggy with multi-monitor setup.

I run 4 monitors. 2 crossover 27" ips displays and 2 1080p monitors. The crossover displays never fire up with 10.9.2. Nothing. They are seen in the system pref but no properties. They are dvi only and worked under 10.9.1 with apple dvi-d adapters. 10.9.2 is a no-go unless I use the previous 10.9.1 .kext and .bundle files with 10.9.2. I have had contact with apple support and so far has been responsive. Hopefully this will work out ok. Otherwise, new monitors

Thanks - sincerely - for the detailed response. Seems a curiously odd and specific bug. I assume you've done all the reset SMC and pRAM rigmarole? Can you change resolution by option or alt clicking the scale button in the display prefs?

That Apple Insider article talks about 60 Hz over HDMI. My understanding was that was not possible, that 60 Hz over HDMI requires the 2.0 spec which was only recently finalized and wasn't in any Macs yet.

... I understand that. I'm saying I did not believe the rMBP had HDMI 2.0, and am asking if this is incorrect. I'd look it up myself, but the Apple specs pages just say "HDMI".

Same issue since 10.9.2 update...Is there anyway I can get 10.9.3 if I'm not a developer? I'd really like to fix my external monitor.
