I have had a bit of a search around but couldn't find anything to help my situation (i have tried a few suggestions).
I have an
Xserve G5 on 10.5.7 with FTP set up. I have created users (and tried already working users) and i am unable to connect to the FTP server.
The only way i can get it to work is by using an anonymous account, which obviously is a bit of a security issue.
In case i am going about this the wrong way, the result I am after is sharing a certain folder to clients to allow them to upload/download documents.

P.S. I am a relative Mac newb. I am the IT manager for a graphic design studio that runs 99% mac environment and this is my first job working with macs.
