As in one of my past posts, i have had an issue with my SSD, which possibly caused by a problematic caddy.
I attach a screenshot of the disk utility and SSD info panel for you to get a clue of my issue.
After i removed the ssd from caddy, i plugged it in an external cheap housing from china...
I have a late 2009 macbook with latest high sierra on it.
I replaced the bootable SATA hdd with a 500GB SATA disk as it failed.
I decided to add a secondary hdd, a Plextor SATA SSD, model PX-128m6Pro firmware 1.02, dated 2014.
on the DVD bay !
I installed osx high sierra latest as well...
i just replaced my old hdd with a plextor SSD px-128m6pro on my macbook late 2009 which was under osx 10.6.x.
i made a bootable usb with high sierra on it and when in open disk utility to format the ssd,
i get a variety of APFS options such as
encrypted, case sensitive, non case...
i have a macbook late 2009, with OSX 10.6.x and after i managed to burn a bootable usb osx mavericks installer, so i can ugrade or do fresh install and allow me to continue with sierra installation...
i am stuck in installation because i see no information on the formating-install...
