    2nd SSD in a late 2011 MacBook Pro 17 for raid 0

    Swapping out the ROM drive for a 2nd SSD in a late 2011 MacBook Pro 17, I read somewhere that the 2nd drive works but very slowly, is this true? I was looking to do raid 0 with 2x SSD's, if at all possible.
