This might seem like a dumb question: But does the 'demo' under SOS actually communicate with satellites?
I have seen a lot of people on YouTube using the demo to 'prove' situations where the iphone satellite connectivity would work, including in dense forest, slot cayons, and inside caves...
I don't think this is very likely, but I would love to see the MacBooks support Satellite Connectivity. It is a portable device, and if it's the only one on hand, Satellite Connectivity could prove to be useful.
So it seems technically the 13 Pros have the satcom capability; I think? If this is not the case then sorry for wasting your time. Anyway my understanding is that the only reason this has not been implemented is the “business model”. I was wondering if they decided to roll this out for the 14...
