I know. I know. It's been done to death.

But it's such a shame that fonts are SUCH a pain in OSX (auto activation, system fonts, conflicts, etc etc)... and then Leopard's "updated" FontBook was no bueno.

So sad.

Since then I've been TRYING DESPERATELY to love FEX, and now Fusion2 (which is a tad better, i think?).

So the question begs:

Will SnowLeopard do anything to help with the OSX font madness?

Does anyone know?

/fingers crossed

Maybe a 3rd party solution in the meantime? There should be a few relevant threads if you hit the search / MRoogle.

I currently use FEX 2 and it does what I need. You can try Font Agent Pro and see if that is better than Fusion 2 for u.

Thanks guys...

Apologies for the confusion, but have we heard any word on SnowLeopard's font handling? Are they supposed to update FontBook? Etc?

I'm pretty up on the 3rd party managers, but dont' really want to invest the time organizing in FEX, SF2, etc, if SnowLeopard is going to get it right.

Make sense?
