I contacted support regarding odd display shadowing issues on my late 2022 (Mac 15.6) 12 CPU / 18 GPU, 18 GB / 1TB 14" MBP (with 3 year AC+).
After a support chat, took it to a local Apple Store appointment. The genius agreed with my observations and sent it off for repair. 8 days later my system arrived... the top cover had multiple scratches and the problem was not resolved!!
After restoring all of my data (efficiently with Carbon Copy Cloner), got back on an open case chat and setup a new genius appointment at the same Apple store. The (different) genius agreed and expedited local work to replace the remaining components (top half).
Got my system back with complete new lower bits (battery count was 0, new RAM, new 1 TB storage) and flawless display replacement.
AC+ was worth the squeeze in the is instance.
