(EDIT/ SOLVED) suddenly cannot open shared notes

HI All,

I have a couple of shared notes that always worked. Recently with two different people I get invites and try to join but get

It happens on different macs, an ipad and iphone. I've checked all our running the newest OS's and I even deleted the cloud notes and redownloaded them. Anyone have any ideas/thoughts?

Ok out of nowhere when fooling around with me trying to start adn share my own notes did it pop up a box. Some Keychain sharing access in cloud was turned off. I couldn't find the setting for the life of me. So easiest fix is to start your own new note and share with someone. It will open a box prompt, you say ok. It opens icloud settings, does whatever for you and notes works again.

BTW older shared notes continued to work it was only for new ones that it was "being difficult".
