I bought Christmas gifts for my teen a couple of weeks ago, including a MacBook Air M4 15" and a 16:9 external monitor. She already has an A16 iPad 11". Since buying, I've read some threads that have me concerned about running external monitors - especially in different aspect ratios. I didn't realize Apple natively runs 16:10 and not 16:9. I've already gone beyond the return period for the monitor, but don't want Christmas morning to be a disappointment. Should I buy a 16:10 external and find another use for the 16:9, or am I overreacting?
