I currently own one Apple TV but plan to get the new model when it comes out in the coming months. Any one of you has enabled the “one Home Screen” feature? What happens when an app being synced is no longer available in the App Store? On my current Apple TV box I’m using a streaming app that I love and would like to have it in the new Apple TV box as well. Is it possible to do that?
Thanks

One Home Screen. One of the best, er essential features of ATV!

Not sure if it's possible for the app to install to a 2nd ATV device, if the app is no longer available in ATV. Generally Apple doesn't allow old apps that are pulled in IOS to be downloaded / installed again.

Thank you. Do you know of a workaround to accomplish that?

I really don't know of a direct workaround. In my experience when an app on TVOS is no longer available, the developer also stops supporting the app.

My recommendation is
1. Patience until you purchase a 2nd ATV
2. Enable "One Home Screen" on the 1st ATV today
3. Enable "One Home Screen" when you setup the 2nd ATV. At that point or soon after all the apps / arrangement from the 1st ATV should self-install.
4. You can always return the 2nd ATV.
