I have an iPhone 7 and it's time to replace the battery. Sometimes the phone freezes and doesn't answer calls even when charging. It only works again when someone else picks it up. Could this be due to the battery?

Absolutely, it could.

Doesn’t mean that it IS caused by the battery, of course. But troubleshooting is going to be difficult until the battery is replaced.

Thanks, I'm planning to replace the battery and flash the entire software soon.
