Hi,

#batterygate is happening right now and i hate throttling. Here is my ideas about fix.

First option:
Apple can use Peltier and little Cooler Fans with it for future iPhone models.

Fall/Winter
Peltier will heat the battery in cold ambient temperature. Fans will stops working.

Spring/Summer
Peltier will make colder the battery and cpu in hot temperature. Fans will start working.

*This option requires two cell battery.

Second option:
Just little battery heater without fan. It will work only cold ambient temperature.

Definitely this option is a simple fix and more cheaper than first option.

*This option requires two cell battery.

Third option:
Use Cpu&Gpu heat for making hotter the battery. This will work only winter. If we wanna use an iPhone in summer we need moving parts for this. Apple must think something for this.

Fourth option:
Apple must find the effective way for hardware using the battery. Better PMIC and Better Cpu&Gpu design. More optimised iOS. Better quality batteries. More R&D for eliminate the throttling problem. Maybe Apple must drop the stock Cpu frequecy -like Intel did- in future iPhone models. It will help battery too.

Fifth option:

Change the battery every year. Pay to Apple $80. Make Apple rich. Contribute to global warming.

Note: Peltier and Heater doesnt work always. It will stop when battery temperature reachs to 20 Celcius in colder ambient temperature.

Just need a battery life indicator so you know when it needs replaced. Which is what Apple will be doing.

Fans on a cellphone to cool the battery? No.
How about: use the damn phone until the battery wears out and then replace the battery.

Apple should have had a battery health indicator all along like it does in MacBooks. I’m glad they’re adding one now. Unfortunately, it’s not soon enough for all the class-actions, at least some of which they will lose.

Why would anyone want this. The fan running would generate more heat than it would cool.

Oooo, instead of a fan, how about making an iPhone case that is a freeze pack and keep a couple in the freezer to change out as needed

And for winter, make a hand warmer case!
