I'm new to iPhone and was wondering why the data on my bill ( tmobile ) sometimes reads 0.02mb, 0.04mb and so on, but other times it reads 0.00mb, would the 0.00mb come from imessages because imessage uses data

Do you have an unlimited data plan? I have unlimited, but it still counts data used because that is the way the billing system works. It just bills you $0 for whatever amount of data you have decided to use. If it shows 0.0MB, it means you are not using your iPhone at all when you're out and about?
