0.3mm eBay Case

Got my eBay case. 0.3mm polypropylene case from a1 something or other. £2.45

Good fit. Looks like the desmay. I've already returned a Snugg case and an SGP air. This stays. So cheap. Great quality. Shows the markup the big names put on these. This is near perfect.

Do you have a white or black 5? I'm wondering how "frosted" the case is and how it looks on the black one.
 
Mines frosted clear on white. That looks great. On white, it feels almost invisible - you can clearly see the full back and side detail including the polished bezel. It's less impressive on black I think. Looks like he does a solid black case too though.

Hi, what does the material feel like to you? Is it matte and rubbery (but doesn't attract lint), or is it more like hard plastic?

Also is there a lip on the case to protect it in case you accidentally set your phone down screen first?
 
It's not rubbery. Not TPU. It's very thin rigid flexible plastic. It doesn't attract lint. Feels Matt and grippy. It's not one of those hard inflexible plastics either.

Has slight lip. Not enough for face down. It follows the polished chamfered edge.
 
i ordered it last week from a seller shipping from China that looks like the desmay's also - it was $2.88 US. Worth a try for something so cheap.

So it's $10 US dollars for the black version.

Is anyone else on ebay selling this same case?

Are these the same material--I want a matte finish for sure and semi transparent (frost) if possible.

If it lasts several months then its a good lay over until more cases hit the market. I think it'll last way longer.

POLYPROPYLENE RESIN MATERIAL according to the seller. Seems nice enough. It's not PC which would snap easily this thin nor PE which would be too soft. Regardless - I can buy 10 give or take of these for the price of one desmay which is supposed to be made of the same stuff.

These look different. One is TPU and the other is a very fragile PC case.
 
Looks awesome I bought the same one from the same seller. Can't wait to get! Actually, can't wait to get my iPhone first. lol
 
Bought one yesterday as it popped up at the top of my ebay search results, looked decent so bought it, cost £3.69 with shipping, got the red one for a white iP5, will give my thoughts when it turns up
