0% Battery, tried 2x ones

Hi All.

Please someone help!

I have my mums G3 clam laptop (really old I know!) & have given it a really good sort, reset pram, reinstalled system all the usual stuff.

However, I cannot get the battery to charge (stays on 0%) even after changing to another one (the old 14" lithium). Have tried the reset by the power button to no avail.

Please can somebody help?

Do you have a different adaptor you could test with?
