02 Phones before activation/ Which EU Countires iPhones are unlocked?

Anyone on 02...if i purcahse a brand new iphone unopened...will i be able to use my existing 02 sim card in the phone..?

What countries will be selling unlocked iPhones or iPhones on a non-contract basis?

yes that's what i did

i cant activate as the o2 servers are down so i just put my old o2 sim in, itunes said cant activate and now using as normal

As you cannot activate now what are the implications to you and the iPhone...are all the iPhone features working?

Do you have to activate at some point, or if you continued using your old sim in your new iPhone will everything be ok?
