The other day I noticed that my 2007 Penryn MBP seems to bind when closing the lid the last inch or so before it latches. I looked into it further and I can't really find anything except, that the lids edge seems to be lightly rubbing on the edge of the keyboard top. I went a step further and removed the keyboard top and with that removed I still get the binding...so I know that that the light rub is not the binding. My question is...I don't move the MBP a lot, so I can't FOR SURE say it’s not been like this for awhile, but I am pretty sure it wasn't like this brand new. I can't see or find anything that is causing it. Any ideas?
