Been searching online for a fix to that error for a few hours so i thought I would post and see what you can come up with

win 10

Uninstalled Itunes reinstalled itunes
different ports used
different cables used
Everything restarted a few times
apple lockdown folder deleted
updated to latest IOS software
Each time i plug in the Iphone 6 I get asked do I want to Trust computer but Itunes still gives the error

Phone is not seen by computer or Itunes

Well **** problem is back and the fix I did the first time does not work. This blows

Google led me here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203355

Sounds like you've tried most of the things listed there. Did you restart the PC with everything disconnected from the USB ports except the mouse and keyboard, and then plug in the iPhone after windows launches? And you've run Windows Update?

Did what you said removed all my external hard drives restarted the computer and it worked.

Thanks for that idea of removing external stuff from the ports. I have automatic update off.
