well ive got my nano working but a page comes up that says im plugged into a 1.0 usb instead of a 2.0. seems to work fine. is there any way i can upgrade my power mac g4 digital audio to a 2.0. im plugged into a self powered 4 port hub, even when i used the 5 volt adapter it said it was 1.0 on the hub. does anyone know if my ports on the back of my computer are 2.0 or are they 1.0. if i buy a 2.0 hub am i going to get 2.0 at the ipod or am i stuck with whatever is coming out of the computer. if the ipod nano is working now should i just leave best enough alone.

The computer is probably only USB 1.1. You can try by plugging it straight into the back of the computer. You won't hurt anything. You could get a USB card to get USB 2.0, but the only difference will be that loading music will be faster. Thats it. Nothing else.
