I just stumbled upon this from iPhone Atlas and apparently the 1.1.2 update increases the iPhone's CPU clock speed

that's pretty cool, I just wish there was some way to hack the processor and take full advantage of it. I don't care if it lowers my battery life just a bit, I'm already pretty satisfied with the battery life as is.
 
I think when the SDK comes out apple would increase the speeds again to handle all the apps. (like games)
 
It is frustrating that even with 3rd party apps, we're yet to see the iPhones full potential.

True, but at least we have them to play with now - limited as the functionality may be.

I think everything Apple has done is to make sure that the iPhone does what it does without any trouble, rather than overreach on capabilities and sell a buggy piece of poo that has early adopters abandoning it in droves. Like Vista.
