I'm in Broward County, FL and my reception has been REALLY bad lately. I'm in the "best" coverage zone on ATT's website.

1. I've been getting only 1 or 2 bars in a "best" zone.
2. I can have a few bars and then the call will drop (all of a sudden 1 bar or no service)
3. Intermittently I get a "cannot activate edge" when using internet and I have a few bars.

*This happends with my girlfriend's iPhone as well (at least she claims #3 happens), which is also on my account.

Is this firmware? ATT's network ALWAYS, or ATT's network just this past couple days? I just moved to Broward county, so I dunno about the network in this area...

Any thoughts are appreciated!

I upgraded my 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 and the signal has been the same. I've read about people whose iPhones have started getting bad signal and dropping calls and they've been able to return the unit. Looks like you may have to do the same if it used to work fine in the same location.

Since you just moved, my guess would be the signal in that area isn't that great.
