Ok so 2.0 has all these great features but as an iphone owner what really ticks me off are the constant bugs left in the last upgrade. How my phone crashes whenever I try to add a picture to a new contact, or how on the ipod album covers randomly appear on the wrong albums or sometimes when i press back it doesnt go to the last song but to a random song, these are extremely frustrating things and although I am looking forward to the 2.0 upgrade I'm more looking forward to and hoping that they've finally corrected these bugs in this version. the iphone is good but without these bugs it would be great.

That is generally the progression of how these updates work...

when is the last time you have turned your phone off and back on?
Have you tried doing a software restore and set everything back to default?
Did you install third party apps?

I did a restore recently and now everything seems to be smooth but things to tend to happen randomly. And I know I'm not the only one that has these problems so these bugs need to be fixed stat.

He has an iPhone so he would just go to 2.0 for free...iPod touch users would be SOL if they were unwilling to pay for the upgrade.

Yeah true but here is the idea....2.0 means a brand new day for the iphone say lets hope and pray that means all the hassles caused by the bugs in the 1.0s will be solved because die hard mac fan will be annoyed but for the general consumer like my friends they might just drive over to the nearest mac store and beat a genius for saying sorry its a glitch

Being a .0 release it'll have its fair share of bugs of its own anyway. I'm sure people will find innovative ways to have the new apps crash on them.

its a computer, there are bound to be bugs. I have never had any of the bugs you speak of.

Technically it's .8 because it's been tested by many programmers and testers for the passed 4 months. It should be fine, with little bugs. But there will always be bugs.

I don't have any of these issues. Occasionally safari quits when I'm loading my car forum that is set to 80 posts per page and full of pictures and still it only quits if I don't let it finish loading before doing stuff

Since Apple is all about, have you updated to the latest update stuff, do you think if you went to an Apple store and complained that your iPod Touch is acting up they would update it to 2.0 version? That is, if there is true bugs that you could prove.
