Was reading up on items used to upgrade a 2005 mac pro. Saw something about an "octo core"? is that a quad core in each processor space or is it one "octo" core in one slot. Also while screwing with my ram from dell (made by Samsung) I noticed the slot in the middle didnt match the slot in one of the ram slots in the mac pro and my dell is 2 years old. I heard crucial is a good ram to buy but whats up with this slot not matching? Will that happen when trying to use crucial ram? Also where could i get my hands on the processor(s)?
